“Detox” originated from a casting failure that led to an unexpected transformation. The casting process was disrupted by an overdose of black pigment, causing a chaotic, bubbling reaction. The final form appears as if dissolving from within — suggesting toxicity, error, and mutation. The piece is completed with a sterling silver brooch mechanism, anchoring the form in wearability.
