Smooth and glowing, HOMEOSIS 2 is a handmade neckpiece born from my master’s series "Homeosis", where I explored celestial aesthetics through jewellery. The form echoes a spiritual double-body, inspired by the sacred imagery of cherubim — angelic beings described in Orthodox texts as multi-eyed and winged.
A single golden ring punctuates the piece, suggesting a quiet portal to divinity. The use of rubber and gold challenges material hierarchies, fusing the lowly and the precious into a meditative whole. Rooted in the post-death aesthetic, the work embodies transformation, symmetry, and restraint — seeking the sublime through form.
