Solstice captures a fleeting warmth in a world of cold metal.
A radiant stripe of yellow slices through a silver-toned surface, a subtle act of rebellion against a mechanised stillness. This work is a study in contrast: soft against hard, organic against constructed, intuition against precision.
This painting emerged from experimentation. A break from structure. As a jewellery artist, I often work with form, balance, and the tension between elements. On canvas, that pursuit transforms, it is freer, rawer, ungoverned by functionality.
This work is about exploration. About finding composition without rules.
