Untitled 5 object
This piece departs from the wearable, yet remains fully embedded in the material and conceptual language of the "Tangibility Matters" series.
3D-printed in translucent resin, veined with black pigment and detailed with oxidized sterling silver, the object retains the visual identity of the series — echoing anatomical forms, fossil-like textures, and sci-fi materiality. But unlike other works from the series, it resists adornment. Its function is suspended. Its purpose is contemplative.
Created as part of my doctoral exploration into digital craft, this object invites the viewer to question — when does jewellery stop being jewellery?
